The use of float valves in hydroponics nutrient reservoirs ensures a constant level of nutrient can be maintained, and the hydroponic system is less likely to run dry.

This Compact Float Valve is ideal for growers with hydroponic systems, aquaponics, or gardeners who need a reliable solution to maintain consistent water levels in their tanks or reservoirs. It's particularly suitable for those who need to leave their gardens unattended for extended periods, such as during holidays or business trips.

A float valve is usually installed into the main nutrient reservoir, and connected to a 'header' tank with backup nutrient (or just plain water). As the main nutrient reservoir level drops, fresh supplies are feed (usually by gravity) into the main reservoir.

The float valves below can even be connected to mains water. To use this with mains pressure (tap water), use a mains pressure reducer which connects to your tap.
